9.\nTHIRD CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATES\nFOR CEQA FIELD WORK RELATED TO THE ALHAMBRA COMMUNITY CENTER –\nF2M22-65, C2M23-64, M2M25-82\nThis amendment is necessary due to the initial study process; it was determined that the\nDraft EIR would also need to include field work for the following six CEQA issue areas: 1.)\nPlan Review; 2.) Site treatment and Protection Plan; 3.) Construction Monitoring; 4.)\nHistoric American Buildings Survey; 5.) Historic American Buildings Survey; 6.) ArchaeoPaleo Construction Monitoring. The additional $163,941 is required to conduct further field\nwork. Funding for the Alhambra Community Center has been established in the current\nFiscal Year budget\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a third amendment to Contract No.\nC2M23-64 with Environmental Science Associates, subject to final language approval by\nthe City Manager and City Attorney, for an additional amount of $163,941 for a total\namount not to exceed $576,394 for CEQA services for the Alhambra Community Center;\nand, direct staff to undertake the steps to finalize Council’s action.
