28.\nAPPROVAL TO EXTEND AND AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH EUROFINS EATON\nANALYTICAL LLC FOR WATER QUALITY TESTING LABORATORY SERVICES –\nF2M21-29, C2M24-32, M2M25-99\nEurofins Eaton Analytical currently provides testing services for the City. They are National\nEnvironmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) certified, which is a more\nstringent certification than the current State Water Resources Control Board mandate. The\nlevel of services provided has been acceptable; therefore, staff is recommending that they\ncontinue to provide laboratory services. The contract period will begin July 1, 2025 and\ncontinue through June 30, 2026. Due to increased cost amounts during Fiscal Year 20242025, the cost of the additional work exceeded the contract amount by $35,000.00. An\namended contract has been sent to Eurofins Eaton Analytical, LLC and is awaiting to be\nfully executed.\n17\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve an amendment to Contract No.\nC2M24-32, and extend the existing contract with Eurofins Eaton Analytical LLC., subject\nto final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, in an amount not to\nexceed $135,000 for water quality testing laboratory services for the period July 1, 2025\nto June 30, 2026; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the\nCouncil’s decision.
