B.12. \nAMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH\nPERKINS & WILL, INC. FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING\nSERVICES FOR THE CITY PLAYHOUSE PROJECT [S. CAMPBELL,\nR. ABRAMSON, M. BARKER, L. BIERY, R. EHEMANN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving Amendment No. 1 to\nthe Agreement for Services with Perkins & Will, Inc. to provide\narchitectural and engineering services for the City Playhouse Project\nlocated at 8325 Santa Monica Boulevard to modify the Scope of Work and\nincrease the not-to-exceed amount of the Agreement for Services.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement\nfor Services with Perkins & Will, Inc. to modify the Scope of Professional\nServices to include additional design and engineering services for the City\nPlayhouse Project and increase the amount of the Agreement by\n$500,000 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,415,000; 2) Authorize the\nDeputy City Manager or Urban Design and Architecture Studio Manager to\napprove Change Orders to the Agreement; and 3) Authorize the City\nManager, or designee, to execute documents incident to the Agreement.
