DEL TORO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to evaluate public\nsafety sirens used for emergency alerts and provide recommendations to\nCouncil on options for further consideration.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to evaluate the potential\nimplementation of emergency alert public safety sirens, including options\nused in neighboring cities such as Beverly Hills and Culver City; and 2)\nPresent the options to the Public Safety Commission for feedback before\nreturning to City Council for further consideration.
