F.4.\nENDOMETRIOSIS AWARENESS AND EDUCATION [L. MEISTER, A.\nLOVANO, J. DEL TORO, L. FOOKS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider supporting awareness and\neducational efforts about endometriosis, including hosting a film screening\nevent in fall 2025.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to coordinate an awareness and\neducational event regarding endometriosis in partnership with the\nWomen’s Advisory Board that features a screening of the documentary\nfilm BELOW THE BELT; 2) Authorize an official endorsement of the\nTHINK ENDO Campaign; 3) Recognize and participate in Endometriosis\nAwareness Month, which is observed annually in March; 4) Authorize the\nuse of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials for the event; 5) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication tools to promote the\nevent including, but not limited to, the City's website, a news release, and\nsocial media; 6) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to allocate up to $4,000 from Fiscal Year 2026 funds in the\nSpecial Council Programs account number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs\nassociated with the event; and 7) Waive parking in the West Hollywood\nPark 5-story parking structure ($600 estimated in waived fees).
