B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-5661 CONFIRMING MAYOR’S\nAPPOINTMENT OF COUNCILMEMBERS TO SERVE AS DELEGATES AND\nALTERNATES TO OTHER AGENCIES OR ORGANIZATIONS\nCouncilmembers are appointed as delegates and alternates to other agencies or\norganizations to attend regularly scheduled meetings to discuss and make\nrecommendations regarding issues that may affect cities in the Los Angeles County.\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-5661 (Attachment “A”) confirming Mayor’s appointment\nof Councilmembers to serve as delegates and alternates to other agencies or\norganizations; and\n2. Find that approval of the Mayor’s appointment of Councilmembers to serve as\ndelegate and alternate to other governmental agencies or community\norganizations is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State\nGuidelines Section 15060(c)(3), no environmental review is required.
