1.\nProposition 218 Public Hearing Adopting Changes to Sewer Rates. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Conduct a public hearing pursuant to Section 6(a)(2) of Article D of the California\nConstitution regarding the proposed changes to the sewer rates;\n2. During the Public Hearing, consider all protests of the proposed changes to the sewer\nrates;\n3. Close the Public Hearing; and\n4. If written protests of the proposed sewer rates are presented by less than a majority\nowners of the affected parcels of real property, take the following actions:\nRead by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution 2025-31 titled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL\nADOPTING SEWER RATES FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS,\nCOMMENCING JULY 1, 2025, AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS IN\nCONECTION THEREWITH.”\nAND\nRead by title only, waive further reading and Introduce Ordinance No. 1294 titled:\n“AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BELL ADOPTING SEWER RATES\nFOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS, COMMENCING JULY 1, 2025, AND\nMAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH”
