14.\nAUTHORIZATION TO APPROVE THE DELEGATED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Determine that the execution of the Delegated Maintenance Agreement shall be categorically exempt\nunder the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 15308 of Title 14 of the California Code\nof Regulations; and\n2. Approve the Delegated Maintenance Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Montebello and the\nState of California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”) which identifies specific mission-critical\nmaintenance services to be performed on and around the State right of way within the City’s jurisdictional\nlimits; and \\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement and related documents, including any amendments\nthereto, and to take any and all actions necessary to implement and administer the Agreement; and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
