Approval of the Design Concept Plan for Playground\nRenovations at Tuffree Park and Approval of Public Works\nAgreement with Playcore D.B.A. Gametime for the\nPurchase and Installation of the Playground and Shade\nSails Equipment, CIP Projects No. 7301 and No. 7302\nFiscal Impact: Budgeted: $300,000.00 CIP Fund (697301-\n6760) Project No. 7301 $ 45,000.00 CIP Fund (697302-\n6760) Project No. 7302 Expense: $338,054.12 CIP Budget\nFunds\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Provide Staff with input to incorporate into the design\nplan for the renovation of the Tuffree Park playground\nand shade sails projects; and\n2) Approve the design concept plan for the Tuffree Park\nplayground renovation project and addition of the\nshade sails; and\n3) Approve the purchase of the Tuffree Park playground\nand shade sails equipment utilizing the budgeted CIP\nfunding in Fiscal Year 2022-2023 for projects 7301\nand 7302; and\n4) Award a Public Works Agreement to PlayCore d.b.a.\nGameTime for the Tuffree Park playground and shade\nsails equipment renovation project in the amount of\n$338,054.12; and\n5) Authorize the City Administrator to approve contract\nchange orders up to a total of $6,945.88 or a not-to-\nexceed total contract amount of $345,000; and\n6) Authorize the City Administrator and/or his designee\nto execute all necessary documents, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney.\nStaff Report\nTuffree Park PPT Concept Plan\nPlaycore Agreement Tuffree Park
