8.\nCity of La Verne 2025 Strategic Plan. On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the City of La Verne held a\nStrategic Planning Session. This session included participation from the City Council, Staff,\nemployee representatives, and members of the community to review strategic priorities and\nupdate the City's mission statement.\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council:\n1. Approve the attached Strategic Plan Meeting Notes from May 17, 2025; and\n2. Adopt the Strategic Priorities identified during the Strategic Planning Session; and\n3. Adopt an updated Mission Statement.
