NB1. School Law Enforcement Services Agreement for School Resource Officer Program – City of\nLancaster Police Department and Westside Union School District\nRecommendation(s):\n1.\nApprove School Law Enforcement Services Agreement for School Resource Officer\nProgram By and Between City of Lancaster and Westside Union School District.\n2.\nAuthorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents related to the\nagreement and all amendments, including amendments to extend the term, and add additional\nservices as desired, subject to City Attorney approval.\nIn 2023 the City Council created the City of Lancaster Police Department as a community led\npolicing agency to address quality-of-life issues related to public safety. Since that time,\nthere have been expressed needs from school districts for a School Resource Officer\nProgram. The Westside Union School District desires to contract with the City of Lancaster\nPolice Department for these services.\nCOUNCIL AGENDA
