D. ADOPTION OF THE 2025 SEWER SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE\n[RESOLUTION NO. 25-30]\nThis item seeks adoption of the City’s 2025 Sewer System Management Plan\n(SSMP) Update, as required by the State Water Resources Control Board. The\nSSMP is designed to ensure the effective management, operation, and\nmaintenance of the City’s sanitary sewer system. There is no significant fiscal\nimpact associated with the approval of the 2025 SSMP.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Sewer System\nManagement Plan is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Title 14, Sections 15061 (b)(3) (common sense exemption),\n15301 (existing facilities) and 15308 (regulatory process).\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 25-30 approving\nthe City’s 2025 Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) Update. The updated\nSSMP reflects the City’s commitment to providing a reliable and efficient sewer\nservice, protecting public health, and complying with the regulatory\nrequirements set forth by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB).
