6.\nAdopt Resolution No. 2025-027 “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park\nAccepting Grant Funds and Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the\nState of California’s Department of Justice for the Tobacco Grant Program (DOJ-PROP562023-24-1-003)”.\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 2025-027 “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park\nAccepting Grant Funds and Entering into a grant funding agreement with the State of\nCalifornia’s Department of Justice for the Tobacco Grant Program”;\n2. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer and the City Clerk to execute the Agreement for the\nTobacco Grant Program for a three-year term covering Fiscal Years 2024/25 through 2027/28\nbetween the California Department of Justice and the City of Baldwin Park; and\n3. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funds in the amount of $225,228 from Fund\n270 – Grant Funds and make necessary budget adjustments.
