9. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND APPROVAL OF A\nCONTRACT WITH TUNNELWORKS SERVICES, INC. FOR THE STANTON AVENUE\nSTORM DRAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT\nPresented by Jason Tran, E.I.T., Assistant Engineer\nPurpose: Approve plans and specifications and authorize the Public Works Department\nto hire a contractor for the Stanton Avenue Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project. This\nproject is included in the FY 2022-23 budget and will be funded by the Water Enterprise\nFund (Account No. 52-9806-490025).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving the plans and specifications for\nthe Stanton Avenue Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project; 2) Award a contract to\nTunnelworks Services, Inc. in the amount of $169,600; 3) Authorize contingency funds in\nthe amount of $17,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize the City Manager and\nCity Clerk to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and, 5)\nAuthorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the contract.\nMAYOR/CITY COUNCIL REPORTS & CALENDAR\na.
