FINAL PAYMENT TO SPECIALIZED ELEVATOR SERVICES, LLC FOR THE\nELEVATOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE BUENA PARK METROLINK STATION\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to issue final payment and file a Notice\nof Completion for the Metrolink Station Elevator Improvement Project. This project was\nincluded in the FY 2022-2023 Capital Improvement Program budget (Account No.\n11- 190063-9806).\nRecommended Action: 1) Accept project as complete and approve final payment to\nSpecialized Elevator Services, LLC in the amount of $40,974.45; and 2) Direct the Public\nWorks Department to file a Notice of Completion.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICPATION IN THE 2022 NATIONAL\nSETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS WITH TEVA, ALLERGAN, CVS, WALGREENS AND\nWALMART, AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE AND EXECUTE\nSIMILAR NATIONAL OPIOID SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS IN THE FUTURE ON\nBEHALF OF THE CITY\nPurpose: Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute national opioid\nsettlement agreement documents to access funding for remediating impacts of the\nopioid crisis as well as authorize the City Manager to approve and execute similar\nopioid-related settlement agreements in the future. Settlement amounts are in an\namount to be determined, but will be primarily allocated toward opioid abatement\nactivities.\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution authorizing participation in the 2022\nnational opioid settlement agreements with Teva, Allergan, CVS, Walgreens, and\nWalmart related to the opioid crisis; 2) Authorize the City Manager to execute the\nagreements and take any additional, necessary actions, as needed, for the City to\nparticipate in the settlements; and 3) Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute\nsimilar opioid settlement agreements in the future on behalf of the City.

7. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND APPROVAL OF A\nCONTRACT WITH PAVEMENT COATINGS, CO. FOR THE 2022-2023 ANNUAL\nSLURRY SEAL PROJECT\nPurpose: Approve plans and specifications, and authorize the Public Works Department\nto hire a contractor for the 2022-2023 Annual Slurry Seal Project. This project is included\nin the FY 2022-2023 Capital Improvements Projects budget, and is funded by the Road\nMaintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) Fund (Account No. 24-9806-590010).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving the plans and specifications for\nthe 2022-2023 Annual Slurry Seal Project; 2) Award a contract to Pavement Coatings\nCo. in the amount of $480,893.25; 3) Authorize contingency funds in the amount of\n$48,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize construction engineering in the\namount of $15,000; 5) Approve a budget transfer in the amount of $170,000 from the\nMalvern Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project Account; 6) Authorize the City\nManager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the\ncontract; and 7) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the contract.

8. LETTER OF SUPPORT REGARDING A FUTURE PLACENTIA METROLINK\nSTATION\nPurpose: Authorize the City Manager's Office to send a letter of support in favor of a\nfuture Placentia Metrolink station. There is no budget impact associated with this item.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve a letter of support in favor of a future Placentia\nMetrolink Station; and 2) Authorize the Mayor to execute the letter.

FOR THE STANTON AVENUE\nSTORM DRAIN REHABILITATION PROJECT\nPresented by Jason Tran, E.I.T., Assistant Engineer\nPurpose: Approve plans and specifications and authorize the Public Works Department\nto hire a contractor for the Stanton Avenue Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project. This\nproject is included in the FY 2022-23 budget and will be funded by the Water Enterprise\nFund (Account No. 52-9806-490025).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving the plans and specifications for\nthe Stanton Avenue Storm Drain Rehabilitation Project; 2) Award a contract to\nTunnelworks Services, Inc. in the amount of $169,600; 3) Authorize contingency funds in\nthe amount of $17,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize the City Manager and\nCity Clerk to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the contract; and, 5)\nAuthorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the contract.\nMAYOR/CITY COUNCIL REPORTS & CALENDAR\na.
