27.\nCONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR AQUA METRIC FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 –\nF2M24-6B, C2M24-33, M2M25-121\nAqua Metric provides water meters to the Utilities Department. The original contract for\nwater meters with Aqua Metric in FY 2024-2025 was in the amount of $550,000.00. Due\nto the increased material cost, the Utilities Department is asking for a contract amendment\nin the amount of $157,195.06. The amendment will only cover purchases in Fiscal Year\n2024-205.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve an amendment to the Agreement with\nAqua Metric Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for an additional $157,195.06; authorize the City\nManager to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City Council; direct the Finance Director\nto appropriate funds from the Water Fund Balance and allocate to account number\n401.80.8884.90829; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s\naction.
