18.\nAWARD CONTRACT: CITYWIDE BUS STOP IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT – F2M2168, N2M25-29, C2M25-35, M2M25-111\nOn March 10, 2025, staff was authorized to distribute a Notice Inviting Bids for the Citywide\nBus Stop Improvement Project. On May 1, 2025 the City Clerk received nine bids that\nranged from $3,247,680 to $4,743,900. Staff reviewed the bids and found the bid received\nfrom Green Giant Landscape, Inc. in the amount of $3,247,680.00 is the lowest\nresponsible bid. The project includes, but was not limited to, identifying and designing for\nbroken and off-grade sidewalk reconstruction, bus pad installation, street furniture\nupgrades, ADA compliance, and 85 bus shelter upgrades or installations. Green Giant\nLandscape, Inc. has the necessary licenses to complete the work.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Green Giant Landscape, Inc. for the\nprocurement and installation of equipment as well as ADA improvements for the Citywide\nBus Stop Improvements Project in the amount of $3,247,680.00; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
