25.\nCONTRACT AMENDMENT: PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND\nSUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT – F2M21-34, C2M21-28,\nM2M25-118\nOn May 24, 2021, the City Council authorized a contract for Professional Information\nTechnology and Support Services with SDI Presence LLC (SDI) for a term of three years\nwith two one-year extensions (through June 30, 2026) in an amount not to exceed\n$146,000 annually. On May 8, 2023, City Council approved the contract’s first\namendment, which increased the payment terms to $200,000 annually beginning in Fiscal\nyear 2022-23. Since then, two additional contract amendments were executed to formalize\nand extend the performance period for Fiscal Years 2024-25 and 2025-26 as originally\nauthorized and pursuant to satisfactory performance and the City’s needs. In Fiscal Year\n2024-25, unforeseen circumstances resulted in additional IT hours to support the Police\nDepartment’s projects. As a result, there were additional expenses in the amount of\n$12,220.28, which increased the grand total contract amount to $919,720.28.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a fourth contract amendment with SDI\nPresence, LLC., subject to final language and approval by the City Attorney and the City\nManager, for an additional $12,220.28 (for a contract total not to exceed $919,720.28) for\nsupplemental informational technology (IT) support hours; authorize the Chief of Police to\nexecute said amendment; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the\nCouncil’s action.
