8.\nNOTICE INVITING BIDS: CONSTRUCTION OF THE POPPY PARK PROJECT –\nF2M24-57, N2M25-98\nOn December 9, 2024, the City Council approved a contract with Hirsch & Associates, Inc.\nfor professional engineering and design services to provide plans, specifications, and bid\ndocumentation for the Poppy Park Project. On June 25, 2025, staff and representatives\nfrom Hirsch & Associates, held a community meeting with renderings and design layouts\nfor the Poppy Park Project and received feedback that has been incorporated into the\nplans. The specifications and bid documentation for the Poppy Park Project have now\nbeen completed. Bids are due no later than 10:30 a.m. on September 11, 2025 in the\noffice of the City Clerk, and will be opened at 11:00 a.m. that same day.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the construction of the Poppy Park Project; and, direct staff\nto undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
