9.\nAWARD\nCONTRACT:\nALHAMBRA GOLF\nCOURSE BUNKER\nSAND REPLACEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – F2M25-34, N2M25-53, C2M25-32,\nM2M25-105\nOn May 12, 2025, the City Council approved the distribution of a Notice Inviting Bids for\nthe Alhambra Golf Course Bunker Sand Replacement Improvement Project. On June 5,\n2025, the City Clerk received two bids for the Project ranging from $361,455.00 (D.H.R\nConstruction Inc.) to $367,192.09 (Eagle Golf Construction Inc.). The bid received from\nD.H.R. Construction, Inc., is the lowest responsive bid. Staff reviewed the bid submitted\nby D.H.R. Construction Inc. and found it to be in full compliance and conformance with the\nproject specifications.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract, subject to the final language\napproved by the City Manager and City Attorney, to D.H.R. Construction, Inc. in the\namount of $361,455.00 for the Alhambra Golf Course Bunker Sand Replacement\nImprovement Project; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the\nCouncil’s action.
