28.\nSECOND CONTRACT AMENDMENT: CITY ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR FY 20242025 – F2M2-57, C2M2-46, M2M25-122\nTranstech Engineers provides City Engineering Services to the Public Works Department\non an as needed basis. The original contract for engineering services plan review is\n$200,000.00 per fiscal year. The first amendment was for $75,000.00. The second\namendment requested is for $107,185.00. Transtech invoices the City on an hourly basis,\ndepending on the type and amount of work performed. Due to the increased amount of\ntime to review the 710 Studies, and the development of a Traffic Calming/Speed Hump\nPolicy during Fiscal Year 2024-2025, Transtech was required to do work that exceeded\nthe contract amount by $107,185.00. This amendment will only cover additional work\nperformed in Fiscal Year 2024-2025.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve an amendment to the Agreement with\nTranstech Engineers for Fiscal Year 2024-20245 for an additional $107,185.00; direct the\nFinance Director to appropriate funds form the Unassigned General Fund and allocate to\naccount number 101.70.7010.62110; authorize the City Manager to sign the Amendment\non behalf of the City Council; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
