16.\nAUTHORIZE RFP: PROFESSIONAL SCADA SERVICES AND MAINTENANCE FOR\nTHE WATER AND SEWER DIVISIONS – F2M25-45, RFP2M25-13\nSCADA systems are used to monitor and control the Water and Sewer Division’s\nprocesses remotely, processes such as the Ground Water Treatment Plant, Wells,\nReservoirs, Sewer Lift Stations, etc. SCADA services and maintenance for the Water and\nSewer Divisions is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of these vital systems.\nRegular maintenance, including software updates and hardware upkeep, is essential to\nmaintain system reliability, optimize performance, and address potential vulnerabilities like\ncybersecurity risks. This RFP would be for a three-year contract for SCADA Professional\nServices and Maintenance.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for Professional Services and Maintenance for the City’s Supervisory\nControl and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for the Water and Sewer Divisions with proposals\ndue no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
