10.13\nConsideration of a Resolution Approving Amendment No. 2 to\nthe Measure R Funding Agreement #920000000MR306.52 for\nthe Eastern Avenue and Garfield Avenue Intersection Project\n(CIP No. 3881)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff's recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt the attached Resolution approving Amendment No. 2\nto the Measure R Funding Agreement #920000000MR306.52 (“Funding\nAgreement”) between City of Bell Gardens and the Los Angeles\nCounty Metropolitan Transportation Authority for the Garfield Avenue\nand Eastern Avenue Intersection Improvement Project.\nCONCLUSION: An extension of the Funding Agreement will allow for\nthe completion of the planned realignment of the Garfield Avenue\nand Eastern Avenue intersection from a “Y” configuration to a “T”\nconfiguration.\nFISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact in executing Amendment\nNo. 2 to the Funding Agreement.
