10.10\nConsideration of a Resolution Approving a Right-of-Way Use\nAgreement with the Gateway Cities Council of Governments\nfor the Installation, Maintenance and Operation of the\nGateway Cities Regional Fiber Optic Network within City's\nBoundaries\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil:\n1. Adopt the attached Resolution approving a Right-of-Way Use\nAgreement with the Gateway Cities Council of Governments\n(GCCOG) for the installation, maintenance, and operation of\nthe Gateway Cities Regional Fiber Optic Network on certain\nCity rights-of-way; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to administer the\nAgreement, including approving finalized plans and any other\nactions in connection with the Agreement.\nCONCLUSION: If the Agreement is approved, staff will process it for\nsignatures and transmit it to GCCOG.\nFISCAL IMPACT: None: The GCCOG will be responsible for the\nconstruction costs, and, upon Project completion, the City Strands\nwill provide free broadband to City facilities.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1 - Resolution 2025-69\nExhibit 2 - Agreement
