10.9\nConsideration of Adoption of Resolution Approving Grant\nAgreement No. 23369 Between the City of Bell Gardens and\nthe State of California Department of California Highway\nPatrol\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff recommendation that the City Council\nadopt the attached Resolution approving Grant Agreement No. 23369\nwith the State of California Department of California Highway Patrol,\nthereby accepting grant funds.\nCONCLUSION: This would be the second year that the Police\nDepartment has been awarded the FY25/26 CTFGP Law Enforcement\n– Bell Gardens Police Department Grant. This grant funding will allow\nthe Police Department to continue its proactive education and\nenforcement efforts in hopes of further reducing traffic collisions\ninvolving drivers who are driving while under the influence of alcohol\nand other drugs, including cannabis and cannabis products.\nFISCAL IMPACT: None.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1- Agreement\nExhibit 2 - Resolution No. 2025-68
