6H. AUTHORIZING ADJUSTMENTS TO SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR\nTELECOMMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TPX\nCOMMUNICATIONS\nAt its meeting of October 11, 2022, Council approved a professional services\nagreement with TPx Communications (TPx) to provide telecommunications services.\nTPx Communications provides flexible scaling of their cloud voice phone system to\naccommodate changes in the number of phone users. Staff is requesting authorization\nto make minor adjustments to the scope of services to meet the operational needs of\nthe City.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare that this item is not subject to the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to make service quantity changes in the TPx\nTelecommunications Service Agreement, provided that the cumulative resulting\nchange in cost does not exceed the City Manager’s signing authority.\nMarch 28, 2023
