10.\nAdopt a Resolution to Amend FY 2025-26 CIP Budget by Closing “Traffic Signal Pole\nReplacement - Citywide,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68579 and Reappropriating the\nBalance of Measure M Funds to “Garey Avenue Rehabilitation - Aliso Street to Monterey\nAvenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68573\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2025-84 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2025-26 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CLOSING “TRAFFIC SIGNAL\nPOLE REPLACEMENT - CITYWIDE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68579 AND\nREAPPROPRIATING THE BALANCE OF MEASURE M FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT\nOF $441,106, TO “GAREY AVENUE REHABILITATION - ALISO STREET TO\nMONTEREY AVENUE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68573\n2) Approve a First Amendment to the construction contract (awarded by City Council on\nOctober 21, 2024) with Gentry Brothers, Inc. to increase the contract price by\n$1,731,887, for a total contract price of $10,040,634, to add Additive Alternate No. 3 to\nthe scope of work; and\n3) Find that the project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(c) and that the\nproposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and\n4) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the contract amendment and any\nsubsequent change orders on behalf of the City.
