12.\nCONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL FOR ACCEPTANCE OF FY 2025-26\nCANABIS TAX FUND GRANT PROGRAM (CTFGP) AND APPROPRIATION OF\nFUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF QUALIFYING EQUIPMENT AND OPERATIONS\nIT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n4. Adopt a Resolution accepting a grant award in the amount of $500,000 from the\nFY 2025–26 State of California, California Highway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund\nGrant Program (CTFGP); and\n5. Authorize the City Manager to be designated as the Grantee Official for the\npurpose of executing grant objectives, grant agreement, amendments, and\ndocumentation; and\n6. Authorize the Finance Director to designate necessary accounts and appropriate\nthe amount of $500,000 in the City's FY 2025-26 budget to administer these grant\nfunds; and\n7. Authorize the Chief of Police to purchase the awarded equipment and complete\nthe grant objectives.\nHUMAN RESOURCES
