6)\nCONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDING FOR A FINANCIAL\nASSISTANCE PROGRAM, FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM, AND STAFF OVERTIME FOR A\nRAPID RESPONSE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8398 amending the budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 to appropriate\nfunds from the General Fund Reserve for a Financial Assistance Program related funding to\nHome Again LA, Food Distribution Program related funding to Ignite the Light of Hope, and\nstaff overtime for a rapid response communications team; and\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to appropriate funds and amend the budget to\naddress these changes.
