AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STANTON,\nCALIFORNIA, PERTAINING TO RESTRICTIONS BASED ON CURB MARKINGS\nThis ordinance establishes parking restrictions on City streets based on the color that\nthe City paints curbs through the authority found in California Vehicle Code § 21458.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find the proposed ordinance not subject to the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines section 15060(c)(2),\n15061(b)(3), and 15378(b)(5); and\n2. Conduct the first reading of Ordinance No. 1131 entitled:\n“AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STANTON,\nCALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 10.08.015 TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE\nTO ESTABLISH PARKING REQUIREMENTS BASED ON CURB\nMARKINGS AND DETERMINING THE ORDINANCE TO BE EXEMPT\nFROM CEQA PURSUANT TO STATE CEQA GUIDELINES SECTIONS\n15060(c)(2), 15061(b)(3) AND 15378(b)(5)”; and\n3. Set April 11, 2023 as the date for second reading of Ordinance No. 1131.
