E. REQUEST FROM THE TEMPLE CITY CAMELLIA FESTIVAL FOR SUPPORT\nAND AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF STREETS AND FACILITIES FOR THE\n2026 CAMELLIA FESTIVAL\nThe City Council is requested to approve requests from the Temple City\nCamellia Festival for the 2026 Camellia Festival.\nRecommendation:\n1. Authorize use of City owned facilities, as identified in the attached letter\nfrom the Camellia Festival to the City Manager (Attachment “A”):\n2. Authorize use of streets and parking areas including temporary parking\nbans and street closures for the festival and parade as identified in the\nattached letter from the Camellia Festival to the City Manager:\n5. Approve the permit for use of the Los Angeles County (County) Library\nparking lot for the 2026 Camellia Festival and authorize staff to\nexecute;\n4. Approve permit for consumption of alcohol in City Park, pursuant to\nSection 4-4-0 of the TCMC for 2/20/26 - 2/22/26:\nCity Council Agenda\n5. Authorize Bingo in Temple City Park, pursuant to Section 4-1F of the\nTCMC and waiver of the license fee:\n6. Authorize soonsor banners in Temple City Park, pursuant to Section 3\n5D-10 of the TCMC:\n7. Authorize use of City’s Social Media accounts to advertise Camellia\nFestival activities:\n8 Authorize Camellia Festival banners and flags in Temple City Park,\noursuant to Section 3-5D-10 of the TCMC;\n9. Authorize City contribution of $50 to each organization that constructs\nand enters a float in the parade.
