Adoption of an Ordinance amending Monterey Park Municipal Code Chapter 3.100\n(Public Works Contracts) and Subsection C of MPMC § 3.90.050 (Signature Authority)\nto add sections governing contracting to abate public nuisances and finding such\nactions to be exempt from further environmental review under California\nEnvironmental Quality Act Guidelines §§ 15273, 15301, and 15302\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Waiving the second reading, including by title, and adopting the proposed Ordinance;\nand\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
