6. Citywide Resurfacing – Slurry and Cape Seal, CIP No. 50067 – Award of\nContract. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for Citywide Resurfacing – Slurry and\nCape Seal, CIP No. 50067 (Project);\n2. Award a construction contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $2,016,025 to\nAll American Asphalt for the Project and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve change orders, as needed, in an\namount not-to-exceed $160,775 (approximately 8% of the total contract\namount) for construction contingency; and\n4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize\nthe City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nAgreement No. ________
