MUNICIPAL SERVICES COMMITTEE: DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE\nAMENDING PASADENA MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 13.04 TO INCREASE ELECTRIC\nUTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM MONTHLY BENEFITS AND RELATED CHANGES (Water & Power\nDept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the action proposed in the agenda report is statutorily exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15273 (Rates, Tolls, Fares, and\nCharges); and\n(2) Direct the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance amending the Light and Power Rate Ordinance,\nChapter 13.04, Sections 13.04.040 and 13.04.045 of the Pasadena Municipal Code implementing the\nchanges to the Electric Utility Assistance Program as described in the agenda report.
