A. Continued Public Hearing on Planned Development 23-01 -\n7600 Graves Avenue On October 8, 2024, the City Council\nconducted a duly noticed public hearing on Planned\nDevelopment 23-01 (P-D 23-01), an application by Maryvale to\nlegalize and intensify land uses consisting of transitional and\nsupportive housing, mental health services, administrative\nservices, early education, daycare, religious and institutional\nuses, and open space and recreational uses to be offered at\n7600 Graves Avenue. Due to the overwhelming number of\nattendees and concerns with safety and decorum at the\nmeeting, the City Council continued the public hearing to the\nnext regularly scheduled City Council meeting to allow the\nCity to find a larger facility to accommodate the number of\nattendees. Since the distribution of the last City Council\nagenda, the City has received additional information\nregarding crime statistics for Maryvale from the Los Angeles\nCounty Sheriff’s Department. Details of the crime statistics\nare provided in the "Crime Summary" section of the report.\nRecommendation: That the City Council take the following\nactions:\n1. Conduct the continued public hearing and receive public\ntestimony; and\n2.
