HEDGE HEIGHT DISCUSSION\nAt the July 2, 2024 City Council meeting, during the public comment portion of\nthe meeting a comment was provided for the City to consider reviewing its\nhedge height regulations in the residential zones to either allow for additional\nheights or to not regulate hedge heights. This report serves as a follow-up to\nthe City Council’s direction to agendize the matter of hedge height for City\nCouncil discussion. There is no fiscal impact. This is an informational item only.\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda – September 17, 2024 12\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council provide comments or directions on\nhedges heights in residential zones and within the public right-of-way or public\nsidewalk area.
