Santa Fe Dam Swim Beach Restroom No. 3 Improvement Project\nRecommendation: Establish and approve the proposed Santa Fe Dam\nSwim Beach Restroom No. 3 Improvement Project, Capital Project (CP) No.\n8A021 (Project) (1), with a Project budget of $2,400,000; authorize the\nDirector of Parks and Recreation, as the agent of the County, to accept\ngrant funds, conduct all negotiations and execute and submit all documents\nincluding, but not limited to, agreements, deed restrictions, amendments,\nand payment requests, which may be necessary for the completion of the\nProject, from the Regional Park and Open Space District’s annual allocation\nfunding under the Los Angeles County Safe, Clean Neighborhood Parks,\nOpen Space, Beaches, Rivers Protection and Water Conservation Measure\nof 2016 (Measure A) in the amount of $2,400,000; approve an appropriation\nadjustment to transfer $2,400,000 fully offset with grant revenue from\nMeasure A to CP No. 8A021 to fully fund the proposed Project; authorize\nthe Director of Parks and Recreation to carry out the Project through a\nBoard-approved Job Order Contract; and find the proposed Project is\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
