20. Construction Project Management and Support Services Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Internal Services to execute a\ncontract with Turner & Townsend Heery, LLC, for the provision of\nconstruction project management and support services to the Internal\nServices Department, effective December 3, 2023, for an initial term of\nthree years, with two two-year, and six month-to-month extension options,\nfor a maximum total contract term of seven years and six months, in an\namount not to exceed $18,000,000 per year, and an aggregate amount not\nto exceed $54,000,000 for the initial contract term, with a total contract\namount not to exceed $135,000,000, with funding included in the Internal\nServices Department’s and other County Departments’ Fiscal Year 2024-25\nadopted budgets and sufficient funding to be requested in the future years;\nfind that the proposed actions are exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act; and authorize the Director to take the following actions:\n(Internal Services Department) APPROVE (Continued from the meeting\nof 11-7-23)\nExecute amendments where the aggregate total amount of the\namendments will not exceed 10% of the not-to-exceed annual\ncontract amount of the original agreement; and\nExercise the extension options in accordance with the contract terms,\nmake necessary changes, which affect the scope of work, term,\ncontract amount, payments, or any term or condition included under\nthe contract, and execute amendments should the original\ncontracting entity merge, be acquired, or otherwise have a change of\nentity.
