36. On-Call Engineering Design and Support Services for Project\nManagement Division III Agreements\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to\nexecute consultant services agreements with the following firms: three\nsmall-sized firms: DRP Engineering, Inc., Watearth, Inc., Craftwater\nEngineering, Inc.; two medium-sized firms: CWE and DRPR a Joint Venture\nof DRC and PACRIM LP; and five large-sized firms: AECOM Technical\nServices, Inc., HDR Engineering, Inc., Geosyntec Consultants Inc., Jacobs\nEngineering Group Inc., and Atkins North America, Inc., to provide on-call\nengineering design and support services for Project Management Division\nIII for projects throughout the County, for a three-year term, plus two\none-year extension options, if exercised, for an aggregate amount not to\nexceed $50,000,000, subject to the additional extension provisions\nspecified below; find that the proposed action is not a project under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act; and authorize the Director to take the\nfollowing actions: (Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nAuthorize additional services and extend the contract expiration dates\nfor each of the ten agreements, as necessary, to complete those\nadditional services when those additional services are previously\nunforeseen, related to a previously assigned scope of work on a\ngiven project, and are necessary for the completion of that given\nproject;\nSupplement the initial not-to-exceed program amount of $50,000,000\nby up to 25% of the original contract amount based on workload\nrequirements; and\nAdminister each of the agreements and, at the discretion of the\nDirector, exercise the two-one year extension options to extend the\nterm of the agreements based upon project demands and the level of\nsatisfaction with the services provided with not change to the initial\nnot-to-exceed amount.
