45. Helicopter Maintenance, Engineering and Repair Services\nRecommendation: Approve a Model Master Agreement (Model Agreement)\nthat will be used to execute Master Agreements (Agreements) with qualified\nvendors to provide as-needed helicopter maintenance, engineering, and\nrepair services for the Department’s Aero Bureau for the term of December\n7, 2023 through December 6, 2026, with four one-year extension options,\nfor a total term not to exceed seven years; authorize the Sheriff to execute\nAgreements substantially similar to the Model Agreement with qualified\nvendors, commencing December 7, 2023, or upon execution by the Sheriff,\nwhichever is later, to meet the needs of the Department; and authorize the\nSheriff to execute amendments and change notices to the Agreements as\nset forth throughout the Model Agreement, to effectuate modifications which\ndo not materially affect any term of the Agreements, add new or revised\nstandard County contract provisions adopted by the Board as required\nperiodically, exercise option terms, effectuate the assignment and\ndelegation/mergers or acquisitions provision, and terminate Agreements,\neither in whole or in part, by the provision of a ten-day written notice.\n(Sheriff’s Department) APPROVE (23-4114)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
