9. Financial Relief for Homeowners in the County’s Property Assessed\nClean Energy Program\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Solis and Hahn: Instruct the\nDirector of Internal Services to enter into an agreement with the California\nHomeowners Relief Corporation (CalHRC), to facilitate the timely\ndistribution of Homeowner Assistance Funds to benefit eligible County\nhomeowners by providing payment assistance or principal reduction for\nProperty Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) assessments; and instruct the\nDirector of Internal Services and the Treasurer and Tax Collector, to\ncollaborate with the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) and\nCalHRC, to develop processes and procedures to accept funds from\nCalHFA for the benefit of County homeowners approved by CalHRC and\napply those funds to the PACE balances of those approved homeowners.\n(23-4198)\nAttachments: Motion by Supervisors Solis and Hahn\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
