23. Motivational Training Services, Career Readiness Training Services,\nand Entrepreneurship Training Services Sole Source Contracts\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Social Services to\nexecute sole source contracts with three agencies, as detailed below, for\nthe provision of Motivational Training services, Career Readiness Training\nservices, and Entrepreneurship Training Services for Transitional-Aged\nYouth who are participating in the Skills and Training to Achieve Readiness\nfor Tomorrow program, with a two-year contract term, effective December\n15, 2023 through December 14, 2025, and a one-year extension option,\nwith Fiscal Year 2023-24 funding included in the Department’s current\nbudget and to be included in the Department’s annual budget requests for\nfuture years; and authorize the Director to extend the contracts for one\nadditional year, execute amendments to the contracts for instances which\naffect the scope of work, term, contract sum, payment terms, or any other\nterm or condition in the contract, additions and/or changes required,\nchanges to be in compliance with applicable County, State, and Federal\nregulations, increases or decreases of no more than 10% of the original\ncontract amount based on contractor’s performance and funding availability,\nand suspend or terminate these contracts on behalf of the County in\naccordance with the applicable contract provisions: (Department of Public\nSocial Services) APPROVE\nWolf Connection, for the provision of Motivational Training services,\nat an annual contract amount of $100,000, and a two-year contract\namount of $200,000, and a one-year extension option in the amount\nof $79,140, for a total maximum three-year contract amount of\n$279,140;\nSquarage LLC, for the provision of Career Readiness Training\nservices, at an annual contract amount of $23,200, and a two-year\ncontract amount of $46,400, and a one-year extension option in the\namount of $11,600, for a total maximum three-year contract amount\nof $58,000; and\nSouth Bay Center for Counseling, for the provision of\nEntrepreneurship Training services, with an annual contract amount\nof $100,000, and a two-year contract amount of $200,000, and a\none-year extension option in the amount of $100,000, for a total\nmaximum three-year contract amount of $300,000.
