3. Hearing on County Code, Title 7 - Business Licenses Amendment\nHearing on ordinance for adoption amending County Code, Title 7 -\nBusiness Licenses, by adding Ammunition Dealers to Chapter 7.46 - Gun\nDealers, to regulate both Gun and Ammunition Dealers in the\nunincorporated areas of Los Angeles County, requiring: Gun and\nAmmunition Dealers to apply for a Business License and annually renew a\nvalid license, security camera systems consistent with the California Penal\nCode, restricts minors’ presence where gun and ammunition are sold,\ndisplay signs warning of risks associated with guns, in accordance with the\nCalifornia Penal Code, approved firearm safety device upon delivery of any\ngun sold, leased, or transferred, Gun and Ammunition Dealers to secure\nand maintain on the business premises, a record of every gun and\nammunition purchaser’s thumbprint, maintenance of annual sales reports of\nguns and ammunition sold on the business premises for five years and\nmaintenance of inventory in real time, with the names of suspended and\nrevoked licenses to be publicly posted by the Treasurer and Tax Collector,\nand update various citations of State law; and amending Chapter 7.14 - Fee\nSchedule, to update fees for the reasonable regulatory costs for issuing the\nlicense and renewals and enforcing Chapter 7.46, the updated annual fees\nare $954 for an initial license application and $577 for an annual renewal.\n(Treasurer and Tax Collector) (23-3786)\nAttachments: Ordinance\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
