36. CalFresh Healthy Living Program Grant Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept and execute\na grant agreement from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), in\nthe amount of $51,676,361 in the United States Department of Agriculture\nfunding, to support the CDPH’s CalFresh Healthy Living Program for the grant\nperiod of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2026, with the grant requiring\nthe County to indemnify the State for all claims and losses related to the grant,\nwith this being a standard requirement of the State; accept future agreements\nand/or amendments that are consistent with the requirements of the CDPH\ngrant that extends the term amounts to be determined by CDPH, and/or provide\nan increase or decrease in funding, which may include significant contractual\nprovisions required by the State that depart from standard Board-approved\nlanguage, including insurance and indemnification; and accept future\namendments that are consistent with the requirements of the CDPH grant that\nreflect non-material and/or ministerial revisions to the award’s terms and\nconditions, and allow for the rollover of unspent funds and/or redirection of\nfunds.
