San Gabriel Valley Aquatic Center Resolution and Puente Hills Landfill\nVisitor Center and Jackie Robinson Interpretive Art Projects\nRecommendation: Adopt a resolution approving submission of a grant\napplication to the Regional Park and Open Space District (District) for\nProposition A grant funds in the amount of $14,750,000 available to the First\nSupervisorial District to fund the San Gabriel Valley Aquatic Center Project\n(Project); authorize the Director of Parks and Recreation, as an agent of the\nCounty, to accept grant funds, conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all\ndocuments including, but not limited to, applications, agreements, deed\nrestrictions, amendments, and payment requests, which may be necessary for\nthe completion of the proposed Project; adopt Youth Employment Plans for the\nPuente Hills Landfill Visitor Center and Jackie Robinson Interpretive Art Projects\n(1 and 5), as required by the District procedural guide; and find that the\nproposed projects are within the scope of the projects that were previously\napproved by the Board under the California Environmental Quality Act, and the\nrecord of the projects.
