47. Proposition 1 Integrated Regional Water Management Implementation\nGrant Funds Agreements\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute a\ncost-sharing agreement with the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency (Agency)\n(5), including necessary amendments, for the reimbursement of costs and fees\nassociated with the preparation and filing of the grant application in an amount\nnot to exceed $100,000 and costs for the administration of the Proposition 1\nIntegrated Regional Water Management Implementation Grant Funds (Grant\nFunds), not to exceed 4% of the grant award per project; and execute a\nstandard Local Project Sponsor grant agreement with the Agency, including\nnecessary amendments, to complete projects, extend time, make minor\nchanges in project scope, reflect alterations in the total project budget or total\ngrant amount, and accept the Grant Funds;\nAlso, acting as the Government Body of the County Waterworks Districts No.\n36, Val Verde, and No. 37, Acton, authorize the Director of Public Works, to\nexecute a cost-sharing agreement with the Agency, including necessary\namendments, for the reimbursement of costs and fees associated with the\npreparation and filing of the grant application in an amount not to exceed\n$100,000 and costs for the administration of the Grant Funds not to exceed 4%\nof the grant award per project; and execute a standard Local Project Sponsor\ngrant agreement with the Agency, including necessary amendments to\ncomplete projects, extend time, make minor changes in project scope, reflect\nalterations in the total project budget or total grant amount, and accept the Grant\nFunds; and\nActing as the Government Body of the County Flood Control District, authorize\nthe Chief Engineer of the District to execute a cost-sharing agreement with the\nAgency, including necessary amendments for the reimbursement of costs and\nfees associated with the preparation and filing of the grant application in an\namount not to exceed $100,000 per project and costs for the administration of\nthe Grant Funds not to exceed 4% of the grant award per project; and execute a\nstandard Local Project Sponsor grant agreement with the Agency, including\nnecessary amendments to complete projects, extend time, make minor changes\nin project scope, reflect alterations in the total project budget or total grant\namount, and accept the Grant Funds.
