Recognizing “California Rideshare Month” and “Clean Air Day” in Los\nAngeles County\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Recognize October 4,\n2023 as “Clean Air Day” throughout Los Angeles County, and encourage\nemployees and the public to take the clean air pledge to improve the\nenvironment; recognize “California Rideshare Week” by promoting rideshare\nawareness at the 2023 Annual Civic Center Clean Air/Virtual Rideshare Fair\nfrom October 1 through October 31, 2023, at Rideshare.lacounty.gov; support\nCounty employees and the public to attend the Civic Center Clean Air\nRideshare Pop Up Event to be held on October 3, 2023, at the Public Counter\nCommuter Center at the Hall of Administration, and encourage participation in\nthe Virtual Rideshare Fair to learn about the various rideshare options available\nin the County that help improve public health outcomes and the environment;\nencourage all County employees to “Take Pride, Share the Ride” by\nridesharing at least one day a week and taking the clean air pledge; and\nrecognize and thank all of the County’s Employee Transportation Coordinators\nwho work hard to promote the County Rideshare Program.
