8. Organized Retail Theft Task Force and Grant\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Authorize the Sheriff to\nimmediately accept the Organized Retail Theft Prevention grant award\nagreement (Standard Agreement), upon receipt from the Board of State and\nCommunity Corrections (BSCC), and execute and submit all required grant\ndocuments including, but not limited to, agreements, modifications, extensions,\nand annual expenditure reports; apply for and submit future grant applications\nto the BSCC related to the Organized Retail Theft Prevention grant program\n(Program) in future fiscal years, if applicable, and execute and submit all\nrequired grant application documents; accept all future grant awards from the\nBSCC related to the Program in future fiscal years, if applicable, and execute\nall required grant award documents including, but not limited to, agreements,\nmodifications, extensions, and annual expenditure reports; and deposit funds\nreceived from the BSCC into an interest-bearing account, if deemed necessary\nby the BSCC, and utilize any interest earned on expenditures related to the\nProgram.
