Malibu Triathlon 2023 Fee Waiver\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Horvath: Waive the $87,105 gross\nreceipts fee, excluding the cost of liability insurance, contingent upon\nsubmission of any and all documents requested by the Department of Beaches\nand Harbors in order to conduct an audit of the organization, with the Director\nof Beaches and Harbors to consult with the Auditor-Controller as necessary;\nand reduce the parking fee to $5 per vehicle each day for approximately 400\nvehicles for set-up from September 25 through September 29, 2023 , and for\napproximately 4,000 vehicles on race days on September 30, 2023 and\nOctober 1, 2023, at Zuma Beach and Point Dume, excluding the cost of liability\ninsurance, for the 38th Annual Malibu Triathlon.
