73. On-Call Traffic Design and Operational Support Services Consultant\nServices Agreements\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\nconsultant services agreements with the following four small-sized firms: AGA\nEngineers, Inc., General Technologies and Solutions LLC, JMDiaz, Inc., and\nTransportation & Energy Solutions, Inc., one medium-sized firm: Advantec\nConsulting Engineers, Inc., and four large-sized firms: Iteris, Inc., Kimley-Horn\nand Associates, Inc., KOA Corporation, and Willdan Engineering, for an\naggregate program amount not to exceed $18,000,000 across all nine\nagreements for the entire three-year term, plus two one-year extension options,\nif exercised, subject to the additional extension provisions specified below; and\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to take the following related actions:\n(Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nAuthorize additional services for each of the nine agreements and extend\nthe contract expiration date as necessary to complete those additional\nservices when those additional services are previously unforeseen,\nrelated to a previously assigned scope of work on a given project, and\nare necessary for the completion of that given project;\nSupplement the initial not-to-exceed program amount by up to 25% of the\noriginal program amount based on workload requirements; and\nAdminister the agreements and at the discretion of the Director, exercise\nthe extension options based upon project demands and the level of\nsatisfaction with the services provided with no change to the initial\nnot-to-exceed program amount.
